The big private bathroom was just for our use, and we could cook in the kitchen whenever we wanted. Breakfast was already provided, with lots of choices. The house is spacious and comfortable, including the rooms, and the garden is large and lovely. Andrew and Anna were kind and helpful hosts at Prince orange. We had a great chat in English, made pizza with Andrew, and felt at home. They were also respectful when we wanted time to ourselves. It feels more like a house where you can make friends with the hosts than just a hotel. Whichever room you choose, I think you’ll be comfortable. The Mémorial Waterloo Museum is only a ten-minute walk away, and Brain l'Alleud Train station isn’t far either. Brussels center is a 20-minute train ride. Even if the location seems far from the city center, you can still choose this place for the friendship of these two sweet, sincere people. You can book with peace of mind.

We were delighted to look out over a paddock that was probably where some of Wellington’s allied regiments stood at the start of the battle. We walked onto the battlefield, likely following the route the Dutch-Belgians took from Braine l'Alleud. What a location! We were two members of the Waterloo Association staying with Andrew and Ania for two nights in March (2022). Tony was disturbed by traffic noise at night. Andrew and Ania were wonderful hosts, and we shared the dinners they’d made on both evenings. For great, lively conversation with them and the other guests, you couldn’t do better.

The owners, rooms, and breakfast were all excellent, and we felt at home. They welcomed our two dogs and did their best to make sure we were happy.

The people were kind and pleasant, the breakfast was awesome, and the location is very close to the ring road to Brussels.
