We had a long weekend in this lovely early 19th-century house and really enjoyed the art and living experience. The rooms and bed were comfortable, and Paul has kept the original decor while renovating the place with care. Breakfast was rich and served in the living room, where there are books and old photos of the original owner, the theatre playwright Nestor de Thière. The quiet neighborhood is full of art nouveau houses, and the tram stop right in front makes it easy to reach the city center and airport. We hope to return soon.

The rooms are simple and modern, with a beautiful little bath, while the entrance hall and stairs have a lovely antique feel. It’s an old, charming building, and the tram into the city center stops right outside. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I’ll come back.

Everything was wonderful, from the decor to the spotless, home-like rooms. The owners are lovely, and Monique is so sweet. I’d definitely like to return.

I loved how easy it was to come and go here. The house is on a picturesque street by the tram, with lots of nearby cafes and restaurants, and they let me leave my luggage for a few hours after checkout while I explored the city. My room was charming, spacious, and very comfortable, with a modern shower. A good shower matters a lot to me when I travel. Breakfast had a nice choice of fruit and pastries, plus delicious fresh orange juice. They were very accommodating, and I’ll definitely stay again when I’m back in Brussels. I’m learning French and tried my best to communicate with the housekeeper, who doesn’t speak English. It was difficult, as other people have mentioned, but I see that as one of the privileges of traveling abroad. If the language barrier makes you uncomfortable and you prefer a more classic hotel experience, you may want to stay elsewhere. For me, this place was lovely and simple, and perfect for the trip. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Paul, the owner, was very helpful and responsive, and breakfast was just right to start the day. We stayed in the Summer room, which was bright, large, and spacious, with a comfortable bed and everything very clean. The tram is right across the street, and there’s also plenty within a 20-minute walk. This B&B was perfect for our time in Brussels. I highly recommend it!
