The big issue for me was the membership charge. I had signed up for just three months, and was told by a membership consultant that it would be easy to cancel if anything went wrong. That turned out to be a lie. After the contract period had ended, I had a medical condition and an official certificate saying I couldn’t do physical activity for a few months, so I was also prohibited from attending classes. Even after I sent all the necessary medical documents, I was still told to pay a 600 euro fine. I spoke with my doctor and a lawyer, and they said what was happening was illegal, but the club still insisted I pay for a membership I couldn’t use. They say you have to cancel one or two months before you actually want to end it. Be aware that it seems no matter what happens, they’ll keep asking for payment. There are some good things: the classes are varied, the instructors and classes are great, and booking through the app is easy. The restaurant is nice too, with a good menu and very affordable prices. But the weights area could be better, with more options and better quality available at other gyms. The class areas were dusty, smelled awful, and had dirty patches on the windows and mirrors that looked like they’d been there for months. About 15% of the lockers were broken and wouldn’t open or close. If you have allergies and go to the pool, you might get a serious reaction, like I did. Membership costs around 230-300 a month. That could be okay, but with these problems, it isn’t. There are much better gyms. It’s not about the money, just saying ;)

A 35% jump in the hourly massage price for members, applied from one day to the next, is a lot. I understand prices need to be indexed, but 35%? Come on. And after raising it, you ask me to scan a code and leave feedback. Here it is. I hope your staff salaries go up too, because this kind of increase won’t make me come back.

I’m leaving the club, even after spending a lot on the hotel and gym. I joined because of a promotion that was clearly explained and confirmed in an email. Once my membership started, they gave me a shorter free period than promised and wouldn’t put it right when I complained. Customer service would go silent for long stretches, and the replies I did get were abrupt, vague, and dismissive. It also took them months to send my invoice. Then they insisted it had already been emailed, though nothing had arrived for me. The whole experience felt disorganized and disrespectful. If you want a club that’s well run and treats members fairly, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

A lovely gym in a pleasant spot that’s easy to get to. There’s a wide choice of outdoor tennis courts and group classes, especially step aerobics and body pump. A nice place to unwind after work :)
