You can't count on breakfast being served at the stated time. If you have a strict schedule and are relying on breakfast at the hotel, you could miss it altogether. The frustrating part is not knowing whether it will be available, or when it will actually be served.

I ended up leaving and booking another hotel for the night because the three rooms I was shown at Diamant Suites Brussels EU were dirty, smelled bad, and had stained sheets and walls. I arrived after booking in early October 2025, and the condition of the rooms was unacceptable and unhygienic. The receptionist acknowledged that all the rooms were dirty but refused a refund and insisted I stay. Afterward, I contacted Booking.com, which sent me to the hotel. The hotel referred me to Agoda, and Agoda sent me back to Booking.com. Booking.com then confirmed Agoda wasn't involved in my reservation and that I had paid the hotel directly. I got back only the city tax, not the rest of the booking amount, and the hotel has stopped replying to my emails. I attached photos of the rooms as they really looked, completely unlike the online pictures. A very disappointing, unprofessional experience.

Still processing this, honestly. I got there close to 22h and found out there was an issue with my card, so they said I had to pay on arrival. Fine, my card really wasn't working. But instead of giving me a minute to charge my phone and use another card, they just left me at reception. I paid less than five minutes after getting that lovely message in the picture. I had said hello in my previous email, so the CAPS were a bit much. Then I waited 30 minutes in the hall to get my room number and code. Nobody answered my emails or picked up the phone, ever. WhatsApp is just AI. I saw this happen to several other people too, including whole families without late check-in information, same as me. Nobody had told us when check-in closed. What's the point of a hotel with no reception if there isn't someone to help remotely? Also, the kitchenette wasn't worth much. It had a water boiler and bad coffee. They call that a kitchenette? Feels like laziness.

Really friendly staff and an easy, smooth stay. The bed was comfortable, and I loved having a kitchenette. Amazing accommodation!
