Vintage Hotel Brussels

The rooms were clean and nice, and breakfast was good value at the 12 euros I paid. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. It’s centrally located, about a 4-5 minute walk to the tram and around 7 minutes to the metro. My only room complaints are the dim lighting and not being able to connect a device to the TV. Also, there’s no elevator. A fun story: I’d booked the wrong date, and the reservation couldn’t be refunded. I contacted the hotel, and they cancelled it, made a new booking for the date I wanted, and gave me a two-night voucher. They weren’t obligated to do that, but they did, and it won me over. They could have kept the money and there would’ve been nothing I could do.

We had a lovely four-night stay in a small double at Vintage Hotel. The location is great, with plenty of nice places to eat nearby if you don’t feel like having the hotel’s good, reasonably priced buffet breakfast. It’s only about 20 minutes from Brussels midi train station and not much farther to the city centre. Our room was quiet, the bed was comfy, and the staff were lovely. We’d definitely stay again. I especially like recommending this place. It’s on a quiet side street, with warm staff and a real feeling that you’re in the right spot. The 70’s decor is perfectly balanced. It’s peaceful without that anonymous-hotel feeling, and the tram and metro connections are good.

It’s very quiet here, set back from the road on a back street with almost no passing traffic, so it’s easy to get a good night’s sleep. The hotel has a charming atmosphere, and the 70s vintage decor fits the name while the rooms still have modern amenities. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great, with a wide range of serving times for early and late risers. I’ll definitely stay again if I’m in Brussels.
