There was no staff around over the weekend, so when a group kept shouting in the shared area at night as if they were at home, nobody was there to make them stop. I couldn't sleep. They also don't clean your room unless you're staying for at least five days.

The neighborhood is handy, close to everything and well connected, and the staff are nice. But there are better places nearby. The building feels untouched since maybe 1970: the sheets are awful, and the carpet and curtains are beyond words. The photos don't show it, and were probably taken back then. I can't believe staff take vacation from the restaurant during peak season, and don't work weekends because it's perhaps too tiring. They seem like the laziest people I've ever seen, though I guess that reflects their sad society. Even when someone is there, or you have a phone number, they seem completely unable to help or even try. Stay away. Spend a few extra bucks and you'll find much better.

There was hair under the blanket, dust all over, mold and hair on the bathroom curtain, and even a huge web behind the door. My room was filthy. When I brought it up, they sent the cleaning ladies, who tried to make me think I was crazy and spoke badly about me in their language while looking at me sarcastically. The manager came back to the room with them so I could point out the dirt for them to clean. I guess we have very different ideas of what “clean” means. Don't go there!

This place's hygiene is disgraceful. I had to stay there because my travel agency booked it as accommodation for the event I was attending in Brussels. There was black mold by the windows, ants around the apartment, and I came home with several bug bites on my back. Please stop taking guests until you've properly cleaned all the rooms and sprayed for bugs. Update after the hotel's reply: I don't know who they're talking about. I didn't go to reception to ask for another room, and I didn't even know anyone else staying at the hotel, so they must have mixed me up with someone. I stayed in the room I was assigned for all 3 nights. That's the room in this review.
