BB Loft Jamar Gare Du Midi

Amal, the host, was very helpful. The place was convenient for both the station and Grand Place, though there was a lot of roadwork going on.

The phone number you have is incorrect.

We stayed on December 25th. The rooms were large, but the property sits in a bleak, dirty area crowded with construction sites. Looking out from the terrace window, all we could see were run-down buildings. One bedroom had sheets that couldn't be changed, and other people's laundry was waiting to be hung in the laundry room. Breakfast was just jam, juice, and milk that didn't need refrigeration. When we asked about it, we were told this was the basic breakfast and that we could go out and buy something else if we wanted. This really doesn't live up to calling itself a B&B. A sad experience.

The elevator wasn't working when we arrived, and the pictures on the signs were out of date. The breakfast was the bigger problem. For a place advertised as a B&B, what was left in the apartment felt insulting, and calling this a B&B seems misleading. I don't understand the reviews that describe breakfast as amazing. We didn't touch ours. In reply to the owner: Thank you for responding, but this isn't just a matter of opinion. I would rather have saved the money spent on what you left in the apartment, rented this so-called B&B, and bought food at a supermarket to suit each guest's taste. Please don't dismiss my concern as an opinion; that's disrespectful. The breakfast was supermarket milk and fruit juice from cartons, generic jam, and butter alongside bread that didn't look appealing. I appreciate your reply, but please don't mislead guests. Best regards.
