Brugmann Square Apartments

We were left waiting outside while the host changed the lock without telling us, saying the previous guest hadn’t returned the keys. The repair took time, and we had to wait at the door. The apartment photos didn’t match what we found. The first place was in deplorable condition for cleanliness. The host offered another apartment, but it was just as bad, or worse. In desperation, we accepted a third despite its problems: the cleaning wasn’t finished, there were traces of previous occupants, cupboards hadn’t been emptied, dishes were dirty, empty bottles were in the freezer, and the tiles were dirty. They offered a goodwill gesture toward a future rental to make up for it. We won’t use this host again. Absolutely avoid.
