I found the studios bright and comfortable, with kitchenettes, cosy beds, and fast Wi-Fi. They were spotless, and self-check-in went smoothly. The European Quarter location is handy for the European Parliament, Schuman metro, and other attractions, with cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets close by. The area felt safe and quiet, and the price was good. A clean, modern base for either a business trip or a city break.

I paid for the booking, but after a national strike in Italy meant I couldn’t get to Brussels, I asked for a refund shortly after the deadline. The hotel ignored both me and Booking.com for days. When I finally reached them by phone, a rude man swore at me and repeatedly shouted “shut up.” They then told me I was banned. This was the most humiliating hotel experience of my life, and I feel they violated my basic rights. Avoid this place at all costs.

The property manager left no email address and didn’t answer my calls, and there wasn’t even a sign showing the place was there. I was never told which room I’d be in. This place is a scam. Don’t book, you’ll lose your money and still be left without somewhere to stay.

Nobody ever opened the door after I booked. It was only 8:30pm, and after an hour of calling, I had to find another hotel. Keep away from here.
