This was an awful experience. We booked an apartment, but the owners deceived us and put us in a different room at another, very bad location. The place looked completely different from what we expected, and it was hard to get in touch with them. Brussels is an amazing city, so don’t let this ruin your trip.

Everything felt old and disgusting, and there was a bad smell. The pillow and blanket smelled really strong too. I agree with Jaume’s comment. We didn’t leave Brussels with good memories because of this flat. Don’t come here!

The location is the only good thing. It’s really dirty and messy.

There was an unbearable smell throughout the apartment. The bathroom was filthy and impossible to shower in, the sink was blocked, the kitchen was just as dirty, and the fridge was full of ice. The apartment is in a completely run-down state and needs renovating before anyone can even keep it clean. The wooden floor was incredibly noisy, especially at night, and the boiler kept making noise, so sleeping was impossible. A note to the owner: please don’t accuse us of dishonesty or say this is false. It’s true, and I’ve described it in detail. I’m sorry, but I’ve never experienced anything this shocking before. I’d advise people to avoid this accommodation.

The owner communicates only on WhatsApp and doesn’t reply after 8:00 PM. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned and was in terrible shape, though I’d rather not go into details. The cleaning lady came by straight away, and I think the sheets had been changed.
