For Brussels prices, this felt like five-star pricing for three-star quality. The room was small and poorly furnished, the bathroom quite plain, and the whole hotel seemed worn out. Breakfast was basic, though the croissant was excellent. The staff were polite and helpful. Cleanliness is just a basic expectation, not a reason to praise a hotel. With demand high because of the EU offices, it feels like hotel and restaurant owners can get away with anything. This isn’t my first bad experience in Brussels. I don’t understand how this hotel has a four-star rating.
