Holidays Apart-Hotel

For 17€ a night booked the same day, I wasn’t expecting anything fancy. The room was on the sixth floor, shared with four other girls and me, and there was still one bed available. It was a two-floor room: upstairs there was a toilet, and downstairs were two smaller rooms, I guess for anyone wanting more privacy. There was a kind of kitchen with a microwave as well. The woman at reception didn’t speak or understand any English. I’ve attached views from the room.

One washroom for 20 people, bed bugs in the room, and it felt totally unsafe for girls. The messenger kept claiming they were fully booked, even though I saw 3 rooms vacant over the last 3 days. I couldn’t find another option because my booking wasn’t refundable. Worst place I’ve ever seen in the heart of EU. Don’t waste your money.

There were bedbugs in my bed, so I left after the first night. I’m a girl travelling alone, and this place wasn’t for me. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone anyway. The area felt pretty unsafe and very dirty, a VERY BAD LOCATION. The dorm is cheap, but you can find way better for the same price. Being cheap is no excuse for being careless.

There were more than 10 beds in the room even though it was advertised as a 10-person room, and the bedroom door didn’t lock. The smell was awful even with the balcony door open, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and there was vomit on the toilet from drunken travelers. The only good thing was being close to the train station.
