The bed is actually two mattresses with a gap between them, so sleeping on it was impossible, and the pillows weren't comfortable either. The towels were old but clean. The room itself was clean and serviced daily, with a small kettle, mini-fridge, shower with a soft hose, and a window that opens. Check-in is at 16 and checkout at 11.

The lobby is small but a nice spot to relax. The rooms were pleasant, and everything was clean. Friendly staff, good hotel, and a great location.

The only real bright spot was the very friendly woman at reception in the evening. The location was okay, in a mostly residential area, but within walking distance of the city centre, EU institutions, and other places. Still, it was hugely overpriced for what you get, and I travel to Brussels often but won't stay here again. My room was tiny, almost like a cell, and very unclean. There was hair all over the bathroom, the drawers were sticky and smelly, and the glass, plastic cup, and spoon provided were disgustingly dirty. The bed was uncomfortable. There was a kettle but only one tea bag and no coffee. Towels, a hairdryer, soap, and shower gel were supplied. Wi-Fi was free, but slow and unstable.

Don't let the building's disappointing appearance put you off. The rooms are comfortable for the price, and the hotel is fairly inexpensive for a central Brussels location.
