Ibis Styles Brussels Centre Stephanie

The location is a real winner. The tram stops right outside, Avenue Louise shops and cafes are about five minutes on foot, and getting to Grand-Place, the Christmas markets, and other places was effortless. After a morning flight from the US, I knew check-in was officially at 3 PM but hoped to get in earlier. As an Accor Gold member, I appreciated being able to leave my bags right away and then get a room after about a two-hour wait, ahead of the official time. The room was mostly clean and the bed comfortable. I appreciated the mini-fridge and microwave, though the shower pressure was a bit low and the water temperature shifted. Towels were worn and need replacing, and staff couldn't fix the room safe, which was locked out. Breakfast wasn't fancy, but was a decent start to the day. Staff were professional, with minimal interaction, which suited me fine. Good value in a convenient part of the city, and I'd consider staying again on my next Brussels trip.

The reception and cafe area were lovely, and there were hot drinks available around the clock. Our room was beautiful and clean, with everything we needed and then some: an iron and board, microwave, slippers, and the usual essentials. The staff were so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We were really impressed. Thank you to everyone working from 5th-8th March :)

The room was unpleasant in several ways. There was hair on the pillowcase, and the shower floor was yellowish and wouldn't come clean. The windows and walls did a poor job of blocking sound: from the 2/F I could hear traffic and people talking outside, plus doors banging in the hotel corridor. The wifi wouldn't connect in the room. On the occasions it did connect, it was painfully slow, so I had to use my own data even after telling the front desk. I tried calling staff twice on the room phone around 10 p.m., but nobody answered. Poor hotel!

The location worked really well for me: it’s connected to everything, but set a little away from the tourist centre in a nicer, more residential neighborhood. The rooms were very good, with a microwave and small fridge, and breakfast had a good buffet. One of the best ibis Styles I’ve stayed at, with friendly staff too.
