Latroupe Hotel Jardin Secret

Even in a central, busy part of the city, my room was very quiet because it faced inward, and I loved the earthy, relaxing feel of the minimal modern decor after a long day out. Some reviews call the room small, but I found it quite spacious and open for a room in EU. The high ceilings and smart use of space help. I especially liked the window seat overlooking the pool, a nice place to read or just sit and relax. It's an easy walk from the metro and there are plenty of shops nearby. I loved staying here and would come back.

A big thank you to the hotel staff, especially the two reception workers on duty yesterday evening. The room was nice and large, and breakfast was good, with fruit and jams as vegan options. Some savoury vegan choices would be welcome too, maybe hummus. It's a nice hotel close to everything, including the EU area.

We were travelling around Europe as a couple when a flight delay put our hotel booking at risk. The reception and management team helped us sort it out, and their combined effort made all the difference. Samantha at reception took care of every detail and made sure we wouldn't lose our reservation, while the manager also stepped in to support us. Samantha was attentive, dedicated, and especially good at communicating in several languages. Portuguese is my native language, and although I speak English, she made a point of helping me in Portuguese so clearly that I thought she might be a native speaker. It gave us a lot of confidence and showed how prepared she is to welcome guests from around the world. We highly recommend the hotel for its structure and comfort, and especially for the outstanding service. Many thanks to Samantha and the manager for their support and dedication! 👏👏

The pool was a fun little bonus, more for a splash than serious swimming. Rooms felt clean and modern, with TV channels to suit most European tastes. The hotel is an easy walk from the historic centre, near plenty of shops and restaurants, and transport is handy too, with trams, trains and buses. Staff were pleasant and accommodating.
