The Good House

The communication from GoodHouse was poor from the start. I asked a day before arrival how to check in and got no reply. Thankfully, Booking sent an automated email with the code on the day we arrived. We got there shortly after 4PM, the stated check-in time, and found no toilet paper in the bathroom or any cabinet. I called GoodHouse. The woman apologized and said she’d contact the cleaners, then said she’d let me know when we could expect it. She never got back to me, and no paper arrived that day. We had to collect some from restaurants and venues just to get by. I messaged GoodHouse on WhatsApp that evening. The next morning there was still no reply or toilet paper. After a second message, they said we’d get some "as soon as the housekeeper arrives". When I asked exactly what time that would be, there was no answer. My questions about where to find a kettle or coffee machine, and therefore the kitchen, weren’t fully answered either. It’s ridiculous to leave guests without such an essential item for two days. Mistakes happen, but the response was not okay. The rooms and bathrooms didn’t look properly cleaned either, with dust everywhere and stains on the sink and shelves. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
