We keep coming back for the spacious pitches, including ones with lake views, and the water and drainage connections on site. The staff are always smiling and happy to help. Facilities are very clean, and there's direct access to the lake. The village is within walking distance, with lots of hiking and cycling routes nearby.

The lake access was lovely, and we could use the pool and "beach" too. Staff were kind, and the croissants we ordered were delicious. The camping pitches are huge and have power and water. Facilities are basic but clean; the showers were a little temperamental, though they stayed warm. We really enjoyed the whole stay!

There's lots to do here. You can rent a room or chalet, or bring your camper van. The lake water is clean, and kids can play on the trampoline and other water games. You can hire a pedalo, kayak, or swimming board to explore the lake. The lake closes at 7 pm. There are snacks and Belgian fries 🍟 for sale, plus showers by the lake and volleyball and football ⚽️. Speaking German or French is an advantage, so keep that in mind. Parking is free, but it fills up quickly, so arrive early 😄. Entry costs 5 euros, or 3.50 for children, and under-fives are free, if I remember correctly 😅

If I could, I'd give this no stars. I'm very disappointed with the staff. I emailed all the details to reserve a place for a trailer tent and car, for two adults and one child. They called back and said we'd get a spot without electricity or water, which I accepted. When we arrived, though, we didn't get what we'd reserved. We won't return to this campsite. I'd recommend camping Hohenbusch nearby instead. It's very close, but the staff and management are far better!
