Ardenne Essentielle (Adults Only)

We only stayed for one night, but felt at home as soon as we arrived. The setting in nature is idyllic, with forest walks starting right outside and plenty of opportunity to slow down and breathe. Nathalie made breakfast with care, and the lovely view across the greenery added to the calm. We could leave everyday life behind and truly relax. Thank you to Nathalie and Vincent for their hospitality and such a lovely time together. We'd be glad to return.

The hikes through nature, suggested by Nathalie, made our stay especially restorative. Many thanks again to Vincent and Nathalie for welcoming us so warmly to their little paradise. We'll come back!

The meals were excellent, both breakfast and dinner, and we ate looking out over the garden, where little squirrels jumped from branch to branch. Several hikes start right from the house, too. Our cosy room was spotless and well equipped. The hosts were very friendly and shared their love of nature and animals. We had a perfect stay at l'Ardenne essentielle, and I'd highly recommend it for a peaceful break close to nature.

My husband and I spent two nights here and had a wonderful weekend surrounded by nature. The hotel is in a small village right by the forest, with a little river nearby. The forest is magical, and marked walking routes help you find your way. Nathalie and Vincent are lovely hosts; their care and attention made us feel at home. Breakfast was hearty and very good, and dinner can also be ordered at the hotel. The rooms are spacious and cosy, with comfortable beds, a kettle, tea, and coffee. We loved it all and will definitely return!
