There was no one at reception to turn to, and the service was terrible. We booked through Booking, but the camping has its own rules and apparently charges for gas and electricity after checkout. That money comes out of the deposit, with no proof that the usage was ours rather than the neighbors'. The apartment was extremely dirty, dusty everywhere. I wouldn't even open the coffee machine. Not recommended at all.

We had a lovely three-hour walk through the dunes and along the beach. They’re breathtaking, and right nearby. Zeepark has lots of really cute chalets.

At 11:00 PM, after trying to find the rental in the dark and rain with my two children, I gave up and went to a hotel. The key didn't fit the lock, and the business refused to reimburse me. This nightmare started with the booking: they hadn't given me the correct address, then gave me three conflicting ones when we arrived. They also wouldn't send GPS coordinates for the house, which could have avoided the confusion.

The park was tidy and well looked after, and each cottage had its own marked garden, which was great for my dog. I had a lovely stay at Zeepark Haerendycke. It’s a short walk to the beach and close to Blankenberge and Wenduine. My cottage had the amenities I needed and enough room for me, though the furniture was a bit tired. Staff were friendly and helpful, but check-in could have gone more smoothly. WiFi was slow, and there was very little GSM reception inside. I had a great weekend and would recommend it for a relaxing coastal break.

The location was nice, with the beaches just a short walk away. We had a nice stay at Zeepark Haerendycke, though the houses are quite small inside. Most look exactly alike and feel a bit dated, which gets boring. The park could use something to make it feel fresher and more youthful.
