The price feels too high for what you get, and I wouldn’t consider this good value at over 100€ a night. The building is cute, the breakfast room is pleasant, and the village location is very central. The front desk staff were kind when they were on-site. But there were hairs in the bathroom when I first went in, mold there too, and the towels were old and torn. The walls are paper-thin, so conversations from the next room carry through. The “independent” check-in failed twice, and we had to call someone to let us in. There’s no one at the front desk after 11 in the morning.

A charming old-period building in a great spot. The service is minimal but quite adequate, and it was both very comfortable and quiet.

Our stop in Diest wasn’t planned, but I’m glad we made it. Murat at reception was a huge help with a problem with my car, and the place was lovely in every way. Great location too.

No complaints from me. It’s a good hotel in town, in a beautiful area with lots to see within walking distance.
