The wine pairing was lovely, and the cooking combined classic cuisine with modern techniques. We stayed the night after having an excellent dinner here, then relaxed in the comfortable rooms. A perfect gastronomic evening.

The food, atmosphere, and service all made for an incredible experience. They absolutely deserve their Michelin Star.

We asked politely for an English menu and got an eye roll and a blunt “no.” The waiter didn’t offer to explain anything or help us with the menu. English isn’t my first language either, and at similar Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, staff have always made an effort to communicate. The poor treatment continued through the meal. When we asked for a taxi, the staff were very reluctant to help and told us to call our hotel instead. As we tried to arrange one, they gathered together, laughing and speaking in French about how “tourists were complicated.” After spending €250 on dinner for two, being mocked like that was unacceptable. We came because of the Michelin star and expected to be treated accordingly, but the service was extremely rude from the beginning. The food was average and nowhere near worth it. Other reviews mention the poor service too, and I’d avoid this place.

We spent 250€+ for two people and were treated terribly. I’ve never had service this poor in any restaurant, especially one at this price level with a star. The food was mediocre and forgettable, but the dreadful service was the real disappointment. I was shocked they’d managed to get one star.
