A cote de l'epicerie

The village has hiking trails starting right there, and the kids had fun in the playroom with its foosball table. We especially liked relaxing in the conservatory and taking in the view. The house is large and lovely, set in beautiful surroundings, with a spacious, cozy living room and a fully equipped kitchen. From the big garden, which is almost completely enclosed, you can see the hills and village. We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely be back.

The size of the house and the garden were the only real positives for me. The rooms themselves were fine, but the beds were terrible. The shower clogged after just 1 minute, and after the dining room lamp had been on for a while, dust burning inside it made it start smoking. The cottage is right beside a cemetery, something the website didn’t mention. Service was rubbish too: we had to drive 12 minutes to collect the key, take care of the trash ourselves, and handle the bedding ourselves even though we paid an additional 100 euros in total for it. I have no idea what we paid those service costs for.

There are only 4 teaspoons for the whole cottage, and the fridge feels a bit small for the place. It might make sense to put a bigger one in the laundry room. The cottage itself is beautiful, very spacious, and well equipped, but it could use some weekly maintenance, including unclogging the water drains.
