There’s a large garden, though the house sits on a somewhat busy main road. It’s a great holiday home for a big group, with a hotel-like feel as soon as you arrive. The kitchen is absolutely amazing, and the rooms are good and fully equipped. The outside could use a facelift, though.
There’s plenty of parking, and the house is clean, fully furnished, and has pleasant rooms, comfortable beds and linens, and nice play areas for kids. It feels like a cozy family holiday home with a hotel atmosphere. Just watch out for the treacherous steps throughout, and the wooden floors make it noisy. We got no instructions at the start about Wi-Fi, electricity, or the kitchen appliances. The power went out on the first night, and by morning water had leaked from the bathroom into the hallway. Someone came to look but couldn't do much. Room 2 smelled strongly of sewage, so we only used it for one night. The charming wooden deck urgently needs replacing. We were given the address Petit Barvaux 97, even though the house clearly says 29 😬
