The setting is lovely and the location is great. The sauna works perfectly for one couple, but the house feels suitable for four at most, not six or eight. The bathroom is cramped and has only one toilet. Our sofa bed was broken, and the kitchen chairs were worn and sagging.

We had a nice stay in Le Pommier, though the studio felt a little expensive. The garden is a pleasant place to sit, and there’s a lovely view at the back. I’d trim the hedge a bit lower so you could see over it. The Wi-Fi never worked, even though we reported it right away and the owners responded. It wasn’t fixed during our Saturday-to-Wednesday stay, so we also had no TV, which relies on the Wi-Fi. I’ve seen other reviews mention the same recurring problem. Some of the kitchen equipment was shabby and not always usable.

Lovely sauna and a fantastic place to stay. The people were super nice, too!

We stayed at Le Verger through Booking over the Whitsun weekend in 2026. The landlord was easy to contact, and the cottage/apartment was in excellent shape. Parking was fine, too. We especially liked sitting in the front garden with a beer or wine in the quiet. The center was an easy walk, about 10 minutes. Thanks, we had a lovely weekend!
