Petit Durbuy

We had a great weekend with friends here, and the location made a handy base for exploring the Ardennes. Durbuy is nearby, with Adventure Valley worth a visit, and there’s a bakery and supermarket just around the corner. The house sleeps eight across four bedrooms: three doubles and one room with two single beds. There’s one bathroom and two toilets. The kitchen has all the basics and more, including an oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, filter and capsule coffee makers, and a raclette grill. The roof terrace has lovely views, and the living room has a pool table. Downstairs there’s loads to do, from table tennis and foosball to darts, fitness gear, and a sauna. The place was clean, though its general condition could use some attention. For the price, it’s a very good deal. The host was welcoming and easy to reach through Airbnb. We arrived to chilled beer and prosecco, plus a selection of chocolates. I’d recommend it if you want a centrally located cottage in the Ardennes.
