Villa Magdalena

The owners were so kind and friendly that I felt right at home, even though I travel a lot for work. The food was very good, so there was no need to find a nearby restaurant. My room was spacious and very clean, with stylish furniture, and the backyard was a wonderful place to unwind. I’ll definitely come back.

An easy commute to both Ghent and Brugge from this lovely Band B. The hosts were lovely, and our warm, beautifully decorated room was clean, welcoming, and had great amenities. Breakfast was exceptional. Thanks for having us.

Annelies made everything feel cosy and comfortable, and she was so friendly. She gave us all the instructions we needed about the city and made the most delicious breakfast. We really appreciated being able to have breakfast at 10.00 instead of within the usual 07-10 slot, and check-in was available until 22.00, which was very convenient. The house feels like someone’s home as soon as you step inside. It’s beautifully decorated, with a wonderful bed, a super clean shower and top Rituals toiletries. The living room has an amazing view of the garden. I’d definitely come back, even just for a weekend in this beautiful house with its lovely terrace and garden.

The owners, Annelies and Filip, provided the best part of the stay. They took care of every detail and made Villa Magdalena the kind of experience you want to share with others. The rooms were just the right size, very clean, and had really comfortable beds. The garden was wonderful too. It’s been a long time since I stayed somewhere better than this, and that says a lot from someone who spends about 100 nights a year away from his own bed.
