B&B Madoli

Coming back each afternoon to a lit fireplace made the cosy atmosphere even better. The room was spotless and comfortable, and we slept really well. Breakfast was hearty and delicious too. Linda was the highlight of our stay. She went out of her way to share detailed, lovely hiking routes, and her local knowledge helped us find trails we wouldn’t have discovered ourselves. She also had great suggestions for nearby restaurants. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. B&B Madoli is a hidden gem, with warm hospitality and a genuinely welcoming feel.

We had a few beers at the bar in the evening. It works on a self-service basis, with everything left to guests on trust. The owners also suggested some good restaurants nearby and even helped us book a table since we don’t speak French. We stayed one night while driving our cabrio through the Ardennen, Luxemburg and the Eiffel. The rooms were clean and roomy, and there’s a lovely garden where you can relax by the river. Breakfast is served in a small room, with everything taken care of. The owners are nice, and it was a real bonus that one of them speaks Dutch, which is uncommon in the region.

We’d definitely visit again. It’s a lovely, quiet place with plenty of space and everything we needed. The host was great and made sure we were comfortable.

We loved staying at Madoli for two days. The home is spacious and beautiful, set in a gorgeous part of the Ardene mountains. Our host was kind, friendly, and efficient, and breakfast was excellent.
