The room was spacious and spotless, and it was wonderfully quiet. Our host was amazing, and breakfast was really good. The hot chocolate and scrambled eggs were both fantastic. Just one small thing, the chair in the room needs buffers so it doesn’t make noise. We stayed one night at the end of August 2025, and it was perfect in every other way.

The village is lovely, with a bar, other restaurants and a great bakery just a short walk away. The owners were lovely too, and our room was spotless. We enjoyed the food, drinks and breakfast. A fantastic spot, highly recommended.

We had a very pleasant stay while using the hotel as a base for visiting Ghent, Brussels and Antwerp. It’s easy to park, and there are chargers for electric vehicles. The hotel is quiet, with a spacious, comfortable room and a small bathroom that still had all the details. The owners were incredibly friendly and attentive. On our first night, they even made dinner for us when we arrived at an odd hour. Breakfast was very good and a peaceful start to the day. Our GPS sent us through an industrial area at first, but we soon found our way into town. If you have a car and prefer not to stay in a city, it seems well placed for exploring parts of Flanders. Many thanks to the owners for looking after us so attentively during our stay.

We were five hungry, tired travellers with a dog, and the host was incredibly kind. They cooked a meal when we arrived, made sure we had plenty to eat and drink, and shared information about a local walk. The rooms were modern and clean, the beds really comfortable, and we slept soundly. Breakfast was amazing!
