The new owners are a very friendly couple, and they welcomed us in Dutch, English, or French. We got a really warm greeting and some information about the region, along with the four brochures. The furnishings are basic but clean and do the job, and there's Wi-Fi too ;-) A lovely spot to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Ardennes.

We left two days early, and even after we told the owner, he ordered us to be out by 10:00 AM, though we'd paid for two more days. When we were packing up to leave, he stood two meters away and didn't even say goodbye. That says enough. The cottage was already in poor shape when the new owners took over two months earlier, around October 2015, and they hadn't renovated it before renting it again. The building and its furnishings were incredibly old and deteriorating. There was no Wi-Fi in the cottage, despite their claim that it was available and online. We had to stand outside in the cold to get a signal. When we raised the issue, the owners got angry and blamed us. That's no way to treat paying customers. These owners should be ashamed and need to learn a lot about handling complaints and customer service.

The cottages have recently been renovated, and the owners are so friendly and make guests' satisfaction a priority. They're in a beautiful setting.

There's a village close by, and the moment you arrive, it already feels like a holiday. A nice place for a short break.
