Never again. The place was worn out, the seat cushions had dirty marks on them, there was dust that looked months old, and flies were all over the food and drink area. My beer was already a year out of date, and there was no friendliness to make up for any of it.

The bar service was unfriendly, and the drinks they served were over a year out of date. I didn't get a refund. One waitress was very unfriendly, while the other was really greasy. There was grease all over the floor, the chair cushions were covered in fleas, and dust had settled over the furniture. Even the fire extinguisher was dirty and dusty. Had anyone inspected it?

The food was delicious, the sort of thing you'd expect at home, and the service was great. It wasn't expensive either. See you next time!

The waitress only spoke Flemish, so she didn't understand when we asked for “two Cokes.” “Glass” didn't seem to make sense to her either, and she didn't know how to say “4” in French. She didn't seem willing to make an effort, either. Welcome to the Netherlands… Once was enough. Uh, sorry, “nooit meer”.

The flooding caused quite a lot of damage to this beautiful self-service terrace, set in a breathtaking spot.
