Ibis budget Charleroi Airport

I left my car here for a couple of days because it's cheaper than airport parking. It's around a 25-minute walk, which wasn't bad for me, though it could be tough with large luggage. There's also a shuttle to the airport, but as other reviews say, it's a bit overpriced. It's a budget hotel, so keep your expectations for the rooms in check. The staff are very friendly, and there's a pizza machine that's handy for a quick snack or dinner.

For an airport stay of a night or two on a budget, it was generally OK. The staff seemed nice and polite, and there isn't much nearby, but Charleroi Airport is convenient to reach. It's a 25-minute walk, and most of the pedestrian route is lit, so I didn't use the hotel shuttle. The pizza vending machine outside was quite nice, and I got a beer from the hotel's vending machine to go with it. Rooms and breakfast were OK. We heard a few doors banging, but had no other noise issues. The shower head doesn't tilt, so you have to hold it or put up with water blasting your face. The toilet and shower are in separate spaces, while the sink is in the bedroom. The mattress was hard, though that wasn't a problem for me.

The room was clean and cosy, and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was tasty with plenty to eat. We liked everything. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the airport along the sidewalk.

The people working there were nice, and breakfast was good. For the price, it's okay, though you can hear your neighbours talking. The airport shuttle is handy, and the vending machines, both inside and the pizza one outside, are helpful when you want something to eat late at night.
