We stopped at the Cafe during a countryside bike ride and really enjoyed our short visit. The staff were friendly, the beer selection was great, and they know how to make a proper cup of tea. I've never seen bathrooms so clean and charming. Ride on to the lovely village of Osterkerke to round out the visit.

We'd had a flat tire while biking to sluis, so we were grateful when the people here kindly called our bike rental company for us. While we waited, my wife and I had a couple of drinks and got great service. Ter Polders seems to be in just the right spot, with great people working there.

We came by bike from Brugge around 14:30, only to find they didn't open until 15:00. The hours seem to change and aren't listed on the website, so if you're just coming to eat, phone ahead. The weather was nice, so we waited outside at the tables playing cards, and it was worth it. The «spring roll pancakes» with sweet chili sauce were simply amazing. Staff were super friendly too. A really charming place that lives up to the name «charmhotel».

A lovely sunny spot on the corner of the main square. Good menu, and the hot chocolate and coffee were great too.

The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and the staff were kind. Nice views and a bike-friendly stay.
