The room was huge, with a big bath and wet room, and I had a balcony looking out over the countryside for a quiet drink in the evening. The place was spotless, and there was secure parking. Breakfast was unreal: eggs made just how you wanted, plus rolls, croissants, cheese, ham, yogurt, fruit, tea, coffee and juice. I definitely wouldn’t leave hungry. I only stayed one night, but the owner went out of their way to give me maps and local tips for places I planned to visit. One of the best B&Bs I’ve stayed in, and I’d absolutely come back.

Breakfast had lovely bread, cheeses, ham, fruit, yogurt, coffee, orange juice and eggs cooked to order. Our room was spacious and on the second floor, with a lift as well as stairs, and the bed was very comfortable. The owner greeted us warmly and enthusiastically, making us feel welcome right away. We’d happily stay at this lovely rural B&B again if we’re in the area.

There are plenty of lovely walks nearby, and the dog was welcome. The enclosed garden was a nice bonus too. Our room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was wonderful. I could take some up to my husband while he slept in. The host was lovely. The WiFi signal was a bit weak, which was the one small downside. The rooms and facilities are accessible for people with limited mobility, including a lift to the first floor.

Waking up to fresh air and a view over the fields was lovely. It really felt like a place to recharge, and we’ll definitely return. Kathleen was a wonderful hostess, and breakfast was plentiful, with great table service and a nice chat with her. Our room was spacious, cozy and very clean. The whole stay was perfect.
