A lovely place to stay, with wonderful hospitality.
A great family-run B&B.
The area is gorgeous, with plenty to see and do. There are caves and castles to visit, lovely walks, and routes for motorbike or bicycle tours. Bastogne is also worth seeing for its interesting World War 1940/45 history. We had tidy, beautiful rooms with a private shower and toilet. Breakfast was superb, with fresh bakery bread delivered in the morning. The BBQ was well prepared, with plenty of tasty meat, salads, and fruit, followed by delicious crème brûlée. We even got two specialty beers on the house. The lovely people looking after us had everything perfectly arranged. On Friday evening, we shared a good laugh with them by the fire pit over a nice drink.
There's good hiking in the surrounding area, and this is a truly great place to stay. The rooms are clean and practical, while breakfast has a wide range of choices. I also liked the cozy shared room by the fireplace, with its beer cellar and jukebox where you can pick your own music. Impeccable service, a charming setting, and excellent value for money.
After a long day walking the Transardennaise, the hot shower and good beds were just right for us. Rina was such a hospitable, friendly hostess. Dinner at the table d'hôte was delicious, and breakfast was generous and tasty. There's a big choice of beers in the cellar, plus a fireplace and jukebox for relaxing. Thanks Rina, spot on.
