We had a lovely time here during our big family trip through Belgium and the Netherlands in Dec'25. The breakfast was a highlight, especially the Belgian waffles, so be sure to ask for one. The service was very nice, and everyone in the family picked this as their favourite hotel stay of the trip. Thanks to all the staff who worked over Christmas and helped make such fond memories of Belgium.

Everyone we met was warm and welcoming, and the breakfast buffet had a variety of good quality options. We arrived early, so they kept our luggage while we explored town and the Christmas Market. Our modern, chic room had a storage entryway and safe, a desk, and a sitting area with chairs. It also had a birthday card and gift for me ❤️!! The windows looked over the pool, which was closed for winter. The toilet was in a separate room from the vanity and shower. I'd absolutely stay here again.

Our canal-facing room was lovely, and we loved the spacious Room #321, with plenty of storage and a firm king-sized bed. The safe was a bit small, but it fit a standard MacBook pro placed diagonally. The modern hotel and room were clean, and breakfast had a good selection, ample though not huge. The bar across the canal stayed noisy until well after 1 a.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, so if you're not a night owl, you might want a room that doesn't overlook the canal or use earplugs. The windows are well insulated, and earplugs were enough for us to sleep. The location is right in the middle of everything, on a wide canal. The Castle of the Count is at the end of the block, as are two boat tour companies. The Chocolate Ambassade, the only Chocolate Tasting in Ghent, is on the same block, and all the main cathedrals are within two blocks. It's about a 15-minute walk while hauling luggage from Gent-Dampoort train station, NOT the Gent Station. We highly recommend the hotel, it exceeded our expectations.

The staff were the real highlight. They helped me find great restaurants and brought extra snacks for me and my children. I also left a necklace in the safe, and they're helping reroute it back to me. This small, private boutique hotel is in an ideal spot in the heart of Ghent, and it has a little rooftop pool for warmer weather.

We had a lovely three-night stay and will definitely come back. The location is convenient, and the service went above and beyond. The room thermostat worked very well, and the blackout curtains made it easy to sleep.
