The bar has a nice range of snacks and drinks, though the hotel felt very, very warm. My room was small but fine for a short visit, and the main sights in Ghent are walkable. During the day, some kind of maintenance or drilling was going on and it was really loud. The walls are thin, too, so I could hear my neighbors on the phone and listening to music. Shower pressure wasn't great, but the water got hot quickly.

Breakfast was good, and the location was perfectly close to the center of Ghent. The bathroom, though, was so tiny that anyone above size 36-38 (US 4-6) probably won't fit in the shower or get past the little sink to reach the toilet. There was no body wash. The shower handle was installed vertically because there was so little room, and it wasn't clear which way to turn it for hot or cold water.

Arthur gave us a warm welcome and some great tips for exploring the city. The hotel has its own parking, which is handy if you're driving, at 23E for 24hrs. We had a great time here. Everything is within walking distance, so the central location made it easy to discover the city. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. We'll be back!

The location is great, just a short walk from the city center, and the service was friendly. The room let it down: the carpet smelled like wet dog, the washroom was cold, and the mattress sagged in the middle. I'd probably try somewhere else next time I visit Ghent.

The rooms are small, but cozy, and at this price it's a good deal. The restaurant's hot chocolate was tasty. They don't have any vegan or vegetarian eggless dishes, though.
