My room was modern, quiet, spacious and perfectly maintained, and the team made sure I had a great stay. The hotel is in the center of the business area, with easy access to other parts of the city. It has a conference center for business events and meetings, and the location and facilities work well for business travelers and families. Breakfast was amazing, with freshly squeezed orange juice and beautiful smoked salmon, something you rarely see at a Courtyard. There’s also a Brasserie with an extensive menu for business gatherings, plus the Michelin-bound Tuscan restaurant, ARNO, for a business meal or a nice dinner with someone special. I’ll definitely stay here again. Bravo to the team!

I stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Ghent with a friend from 9 to 10 October, in separate rooms. The hotel is functional but quite cosy, and having a small kitchen in the room was a bonus. Breakfast was nice and well organised. It feels more like a comfortable one-night stop than somewhere to stay as a destination.

The food at Stroom Restaurant in the Marriott Courtyard Ghent was delicious and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere felt warm and elegant. Max-Mara gave us outstanding service, friendly, professional and attentive. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!

Dary at reception was super rude, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re prepared to literally beg the desk for any kind of service. Wanwisa at reception was so kind and willing to offer the best service, though. Dart should take notes. Very unprofessional.

We were there on a quiet weekend, which suited us. The place was comfortable, clean and simple, with friendly staff. It’s also just a short hop off the highway on the way to Antwerp / NL, as it was for us.
