The bathroom’s wooden floor had no waterproofing, and the shower had neither a curtain nor a glass door. When water leaked downstairs on our third night, the owner blamed us, saying it must have splashed out of the tub while we showered. She then forced her way into the bathroom while we were bathing. She demanded more than 300 euros in compensation. We said she could call the police if she wanted, but she demanded payment on the spot and wouldn’t let us leave. It was a frightening, infuriating experience. The service had already been poor. On the first day, the faucet diverter got stuck, so we couldn’t use the shower head. We messaged the owner and got no reply. The only roll of toilet paper ran out the next day, and another message also went unanswered. When we got home, there were two rolls, but they’d been left directly on the floor. The owner showed no enthusiasm for service or sense of hygiene. This is the worst B&B I’ve ever stayed in. If you’re a kind person willing to pay a high extra fee to help the owner repair an old house, welcome to stay! Dear Ms. Sandra, my child has bathed independently for two years and has never caused a leak in any hotel or B&B. Last month, another guest also left a negative review on Booking.com about the bathroom drainage problem. If you’re concerned, please check Booking.com yourself. Don’t blame an innocent child, especially when he was frightened and cried all night after an emotionally uncontrollable stranger broke into the bathroom while he was bathing. You are so shameless! Please face the problem and be a responsible operator. It’s not only this old house that needs reconstruction, but your heart too. There are many beautiful old house B&Bs to choose from in Europe. Maison d’Artiste only has lovely promotional photos and infuriating service!

It’s a very nice B&B, and the host was accommodating. The old house has beautiful, impressive decoration, but the sound insulation isn’t great. You can hear noise, and sometimes conversations, from the family who live there. A.

The host is super friendly and very helpful, and the rooms are decorated really nicely. Lovely B&B. I’d definitely recommend staying here!
