One Two Four Hotel & Spa

The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the rooms were clean and up to date with the latest technology. My wife and I had a great midweek stay. Since it was my birthday, the staff surprised me with breakfast 🙃. It’s not far from the city centre, and I’d recommend visiting 😉.

We loved how much thought had gone into this modern hotel. The rooms and showers were lovely, and the bar, with its nice outdoor area, was brilliant. Breakfast was incredible: a lovely buffet plus special dishes, beautifully cooked by the smiling team. Getting to use the spa was an extra treat. The hotel is well placed, with lovely restaurants and bars nearby. Such a wonderful stay.

The air conditioning in our room didn’t work. I told the front desk, but they did nothing, and sleeping there was miserable, especially under the extremely thick comforter meant for much colder weather. The airflow and service were horrendous, so we definitely won’t return. The hotel itself is beautiful, which makes it all the more disappointing. Breakfast was another letdown: the buffet was very small and not worth 25€. It felt like a rip-off, however nice the chef may be. Eat at STEK down the street instead. There are better, nicer hotels nearby with decent airflow and more breakfast options. I wish I could give this place a better rating, but I absolutely can’t. Don’t book!

The breakfast buffet costs extra, but I thought it was well worth it. There’s a wide range of organic food, and the chef presents your order like a top chef in Paris. The included one-hour private spa sessions are a wonderful perk too.
