Bie and Pascal were quick to respond to our requests, even some unusual ones. The room was distinctive and appealing, with an incomparable view over the canal and the revelers. The location is hard to beat, close to all the Ghent sights. We spent eight days at this hotel, which felt like a resort. The rooms were spacious, snacks and drinks were plentiful, and breakfast service was first class. There was enough variety that we looked forward to it every morning.

The owner and staff were lovely, and we had a brilliant few days here. The location is awesome, the rooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable. There's a free, well-stocked minibar in the room, plus a good shower. Breakfast on the terrace was amazing. Just be aware that the stairs are tight and steep, though that's part of the house's character. Highly recommended!

The view is hard to beat, and the location puts you right in the middle of everything. We traveled with just backpacks, so the stairs to the rooms were easy for us. Big wheeled suitcases would be a problem, though. The owners are a wonderful couple, and we got to spend some time with them. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were really comfortable too. We loved the place and wish we'd stayed longer. Can't wait to come back!

The room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet, the staff were helpful, and breakfast was nice. Parking is an easy, short walk away. This property is truly one of a kind, with the views exactly as advertised. If you're after a romantic, memorable room above a great restaurant, in a fabulous location with an outstanding view, Room with a View is the place. The stairs are narrow and tricky, but worth it. See my photos below.
