We stayed in November and had a lovely time for a very reasonable price. The walk to Ghent’s centre takes more than 20 minutes, but it’s mostly flat and a nice way to see the city. The receptionist was really helpful, marked out a route on a map, and suggested places to visit. Our room had two sinks, which made getting ready together easy. Just be aware that part of the bathroom door was glass, so you could see inside. The beds and pillows were so comfortable I was tempted to take a pillow home, but I didn’t 😅. After a pretty disappointing hotel in Bruges, this place felt like a breath of fresh air. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated.

I slept better here than I do at home, as I told Karl before we left. It’s a clean, quiet place in a great spot near the train station, and the breakfast was wonderful. Just a great stay. Thanks, Karl!

The view into the inner yard, with its old trees, was one of my favourite things about this special place. The house has such a lovely feel, and the bright, spacious rooms and big bathroom made us feel at home during our two nights here. Thanks, Karl, for helping us make new memories. Karl was easy to reach and very helpful whenever we needed him. We stayed last Friday and had a wonderful time. The room was huge, with one of the most beautiful bathrooms I’ve seen, and the price was good too. The Hamptons Boutique B&B gives you a bit of peace and quiet while still being not too far from town. It’s just right for a couple.

It felt like staying in a city home that good friends had opened up to us. The shared bar, garden and breakfast room all added to the warm hospitality, and the bed and spacious bathroom were very comfortable. I’ll truly hate having to leave, and I’ll definitely come back!
