We spent most of our time outside because the setting was so lovely, and it was peaceful, away from the nearest neighbors. There are plenty of things to do nearby as well. The house is large and a little dated, but it’s equipped well enough. For a group of around ten, it works really well.

The garden is huge and the setting is really nice. We came with a large group, and cooking and cleanup were easy thanks to the industrial dishwasher. There’s a campfire, a little pond, a roomy dining area, and foosball and pool tables upstairs. The main issue was warmth: some heaters didn’t seem to work, and downstairs got cold and damp in the evenings and overnight, perhaps because of the single glazing. Aside from that, we were very satisfied.

The house and its surroundings are really pleasant, quiet and close to nature. We were a little surprised, though, by the shortage of basics like dish towels, hand soap and toilet paper. Still, a very nice place.

The access is difficult, and there’s no internet. Inside, the large rooms were cold while the living room stayed warm. The house is big and has an industrial kitchen that can handle cooking for a dozen people. There’s also a touch of older architecture.
