De Epicurist

My wife gave me a weekend away for our 12½ years of marriage, paired with a concert by the one and only official ELVIS impersonator at the Trixxo Theatre. The B&B owners welcomed us so warmly. Within minutes, we had coffee and a delicious piece of cake💪🏼, and it felt like we’d known them for years. They were genuinely interested, chatty, and incredibly friendly. The lady of the house gave us a detailed tour after we had a drink. Then we enjoyed our room, some delicious food in Hasselt, and the concert. As arranged, breakfast was ready right on time at 9:30 am. It was luxurious and so well looked after. Whenever we’re in Hasselt, we’ll always try to stay at the Epicurist first!

Magda, how do you manage to surprise us each morning with such a plentiful, varied breakfast? It’s unmatched, hats off to you! Luc even corrected me on the word for how clean and tidy everything was: “Proper” 😂. The room was top-notch, and we loved the quiet, the cozy atmosphere, and a nice glass of wine. Luc and Magda are such lovely, likeable people that after the first contact it feels like you’ve known them for years. That’s what being pampered feels like. We’ll treasure these beautiful days at your loving B&B and hope you stay healthy with us for a long time. We’ll be back to enjoy the peace, hospitality, and love you radiate. Thanks again, Luc and Magda. Love, Janeth and Wim

Magda and Luk are fantastic, and we felt at home right away. It’s a charming, cozy B&B in a great location, and we’ll definitely return.

Luc and Magda, thank you! We’ll definitely be back. The room was clean and spacious, the terrace lovely, breakfast delicious, and the garden beautiful. There’s really everything you could wish for in this B&B, and we can only say positive things. They may not have been “born and raised” in Limburg, but they certainly have plenty of Limburg hospitality.
