Hotel Ibis Hasselt Centrum

The location was convenient, close to the city centre, and our room was clean and well kept, though it sometimes felt a bit small. The stay itself was alright, but check-in left a bad first impression. We arrived on Saturday and waited about 4-5 minutes for someone to come to the desk. The receptionist had been outside smoking, and when he came in the cigarette smell was overwhelming. I’m convinced he saw us arrive but decided to finish smoking first. Then he was dismissive during check-in, as if he wasn’t taking us seriously.

Finding free parking nearby before 9 pm was the one tricky part, since garage parking becomes free then. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my two nights at this Ibis Styles. The comfort room was spacious, breakfast buffet was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d recommend this Ibis Styles in Hasselt.

The rooms are always clean and nice, and the staff help with anything you need. They’re some of the sweetest, most compassionate and caring people I’ve come across. I’d recommend this hotel to everyone every time, and would give it unlimited stars if I could. Everything here is amazing 🤩

There’s no parking at the hotel, despite what the website says. One of the nearest public car parks is a seven-minute walk away. That may be fine for some, but it’s worth considering if you have luggage, children, or limited mobility.
