The quiet spot has a lovely view over the pond and garden, and my room was spacious, tidy, and had everything I needed. Agnes welcomed me with open arms and was so helpful. This B&B has a soul, and the stay felt like coming home. It was ideal for my course at the Wellness Academy in Hasselt, just a 15-minute drive away. I felt incredibly spoiled during my two nights here. Thanks for everything, Agnes. I’ll definitely be back 🙏

Such a nice hostess, and I’ve hardly ever stayed in an apartment that was this complete.

The welcome was really friendly, and the rooms are excellent. It's in a beautiful setting.

We were welcomed by Annemie, the owner Agnes’s likeable sister, and found plenty of tourist information, from brochures and guidebooks to walking maps. There’s even a little library in every room. The garden is beautiful, and there’s covered storage for bicycles. Wimmertingen has a restaurant, a chip shop, and a bakery, and the Hasselt-Tongeren bus stops 300 meters away. There are lovely walks nearby, for example in Kortessem and Wellen, or through the Mombeek valley. The B&B is in a peaceful spot in this small village, 5 km south of Hasselt. The rooms are beautiful and have a minibar stocked with Duvel, Cristal Alken, Coca-Cola, and Minute Maid fruit juice, as well as a flat-screen TV. Breakfast was solid, with freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh rolls, and various spreads. It isn’t exactly cheap, I paid 70 euros for one person plus 2 euros city tax, but I think it’s worth the money. One small drawback: I didn’t find the twin beds very comfortable, and the sloping wall made reading in bed difficult.
