After long workdays, it was always lovely to return here and unwind. I stayed for 8 nights on an intense work trip, and the quiet neighbourhood, not far from the centre of Hasselt, suited me well. Mieke, the owner, is incredibly kind, warm and welcoming. The room was perfect, the breakfasts were delicious, and the decor throughout Maris Logies is especially nice. You can tell a lot of love and care went into creating this beautiful place. I look forward to staying again and highly recommend it.

Our children had a great time in the pool and playing in the garden. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful, clean, spacious and well decorated. We had a great weekend at Maris Logies, one of the best B&Bs I’ve stayed at.

Breakfast was a treat each morning. We chose the next day’s spread from a huge range of hot and cold options, including homemade biscuits and bread rolls, pastries, yogurt, fruit, eggs and bacon. There was plenty to choose from, and we felt thoroughly spoiled. Our group of 10 badminton players rented all of Maris Logies for 9 days in August 2024 while attending an event at the nearby Velodrome/race track. The five sumptuous rooms were set up as doubles or twins to suit us, and each was tastefully and individually decorated. The clean, comfortable communal spaces had sofas for chatting and led out to a lovely outdoor area with a beautiful pool and places to lounge. We swam in the heated pool in the mornings, sunbathed or read in the shade. The hosts were attentive, generous and friendly. We couldn’t believe our luck when we checked in. It’s a short walk to large supermarkets, a stone’s throw from an exceptional pub serving fabulous food, and about 10 minutes from the centre of Hasselt. I’d happily recommend it to groups or individuals sharing with other guests. One of the best places I’ve stayed. Thank you for a wonderful stay from the English badminton lot!
