Appartement Vallee de la Meuse

There’s a decent amount of space, with a bedroom separate from the living room, and the kitchen works well. That’s useful since there are few, if any, places to eat nearby. The unit has enough amenities for a short stay, but comfort is where it falls short: worn, old fixtures, a very dim living room, outdated heating, and extremely basic old bedding. Cleanliness was below average too.

We got a good deal for the weekend, and the sunset we saw was wonderful.

There were spiderwebs at every window, and the apartment was very dirty.

We couldn’t get a response after contacting the number sent in the booking email, not even after leaving a voicemail. The apartment is old and needs a lot of attention. Cleanliness was poor: the dishes all needed washing before we could use them, and the toilet was dirty inside and around the sides, so we disinfected it, especially given COVID. The bathroom taps were heavily scaled, and the bathtub was worse. There was no hot water in the kitchenette, and the only cooking pan was a small, dirty saucepan. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend renting it.
