Breakfast was good, and the place was very quiet. The room had enough space, though the floor was cold. The bathroom was spotless, but it could use a few more basics, like shampoo, a toothbrush, or slippers.

The owners are kind and will happily chat now and then without getting in your way. The garden feels cosy, and the interior is lovely too. I'd recommend this B&B and plan to come back.

The owners were really friendly and helpful. Everything was neat and clean, and there were more than enough facilities for a B&B. We really enjoyed our stay.

My visiting family stayed at Wisteria and felt looked after in every way. With bread baked in-house, mama's cooking, and everything you need, it feels just like home. It's more than a room, definitely a place to go.

The best part of Wisteria for us was the hospitality, and breakfast was very satisfying too. Herne is a small, pleasant village, about half an hour by car from Brussel. If you want to explore other Belgian cities, having a car is essential. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the train station, and the train to Brussel takes 40 minutes. We didn't take it because it was expensive for three people. In Brussel we parked with Indigo Interparking, which was cheaper than street parking; in other cities, free parking was easy to find. Brugges is an hour away by car, and Gent takes about 40 minutes. Pairi Daiza is an interesting animal zoo, around a 20-minute drive away, and well worth a day visit.
