We’d happily return. The house is lovely, on a very quiet road, and the autumn colors around it were beautiful. The beds were made up neatly and comfortable. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed, including a large fridge-freezer, and everything worked. There’s a spacious dining room and a roomy lounge with a TV. The owner had even decorated for the birthday guest who came with us. Two things need to be sorted out first. The heating and hot water fuel system seems outdated. It failed on Sunday morning and the whole place was freezing, though the owner got it fixed within an hour. Kudos for that. Also, communication before the stay was difficult. The owner didn’t check our questions and messages on the natuurhuisje site for weeks, which left us quite uncertain. Things only got properly moving shortly before arrival, after natuurhuisje followed up.
