We rented this cottage for two nights and paid €400 including taxes, plus a €200 security deposit. For what you get, that feels far too expensive. The photos are misleading: the cottage is very small and cold, even with the pellet stove. Each bag of pellets costs another €7. The other heaters are electric. One is preset to 18 degrees Celsius and can’t be adjusted, while the bathroom heater only comes on intermittently. The stairs are extremely noisy, enough to wake children if they’re going up and down. The safety gate is poor quality, so be careful using it, and watch your step on the stairs. Dogs are allowed, but the garden isn’t fenced, so they still need to stay on a leash. The customer service was awful. We’d agreed on an arrival time, but waited outside for over 30 minutes, and the owner didn’t apologize when we finally arrived. Parking was also incredibly difficult. There’s barely any sidewalk to park on, right at the road’s edge as cars speed past. For the price, the quality, the location, and the service, I’d avoid this cottage. There are much nicer places around here at similar prices. At half the cost, it might be worth it, but the service is truly awful. Be careful what you rent in the area.
